About college
Government Arts and Science college Elanthoor situated in Pathanamthitta district and were established in this year 2014 and Inaugurated by our Honorable Chief Minister Sri. Oommen Chandy On 29.09.2014. This College is Affiliated to M.G. University and this College offers three Degree Courses from its inception viz; B.sc Zoology, B.com (finance & taxation),and B.A. Malayalam.

Elanthoor the place which had became famous by the foot print of our "Mahatma Gandhi" is now becoming more famous and popular by the inauguration of "Government Arts and Science college".
The current High School was Sanctioned by "Gandhian of Elanthoor Sri. K.Kumarji in 1965. VHSE was started in 1975. B.Ed center under Mahatma Gandhi University was started here by the initials taken by Late Sri. K.K.Nair MLA. Now the College is sanctioned by the Government Of Kerala (M.G University) all the initial steps was taken by Sri.K. Sivadasan Nair MLA.
